Eddy Current Testing
Eddy Current Testing is a Non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection method used for a variety of purposes, including for flaw detection, material and coating thickness measurements, material identification and establishing the heat treatment condition of certain materials.
The eddy current method is based on the principle of generating circular electrical currents (eddy currents) in a conductive material. This is achieved by the use of a coil connected to an alternating current generator driving an alternating magnetic field (primary field).
It is a versatile NDT method that can be used to detect (near) surface defects in conductive materials without removing the coating. An electromagnetic inductor is used to generate a magnetic field.
We have highly equipped engineers to perform Eddy current testing with in-depth knowledge and many years of experience in the same field helps in providing the best Quality inspection.
