Pressure Test
Pressure tests are a non-destructive way to guarantee the integrity of equipment such as pressure vessels, pipelines, plumbing lines, gas cylinders, boilers and fuel tanks. It is required by the piping codes to confirm that a piping system is able to bear its rated pressure and it has no leaks.
A hydrostatic Pressure test is a way in which pressure vessels such as pipelines, plumbing, gas cylinders, boilers and fuel tanks can be tested for strength and leaks. The test involves filling the vessel or pipe system with a liquid, usually water, which may be dyed to aid in visual leak detection, and pressurization of the vessel to the specified test pressure. Pressure tightness can be tested by shutting off the supply valve and observing whether there is a pressure loss. The location of a leak can be visually identified more easily if the water contains a colorant.
Hydrostatic Pressure tests are often required after shutdowns and repairs in order to validate that equipment will operate under desired conditions once returned to service.
Our services offer you with witnessing the Pressure test and giving approval to that vessel or tank or pipelines where the approving authority will have the required certifications such as CWI/CSWIP/API etc., to approve it.
